Dear Members,
In our last circular sent about a month ago, I had mentioned “We agree that the updates have not been as frequent as desired, making members restless. However, very frequent updates without much concrete gain to talk about is also meaningless. Despite our best efforts and follow-up, lot of time elapses waiting for some pleasant news to share with all the members when such matters seem to be at the cusp of closure. Unfortunately, although there is progress, closures did not happen.”
We are pleased to inform that there is a significant progress in our land conversion. Prashant Khandelwal had announced during the flag hoisting that the conversion has been approved by the Ministry. Today he has forwarded a Letter of Approval dated 21st August 2026 from the Revenue Department to the Collector’s office directing them to collect the premium for conversion. A copy of the letter is attached for reference as Annexure.
The DA is yet to be received from the developers advocate. This delay is despite our best efforts to put pressure on the developer and our advocate directly following up with their advocate. Kindly bear with us and we assure you that our best efforts will be put to close it at the earliest.
The floor plans have been sent by the developer to Dhargalkar, who has commenced his review. Dhargalkar and his assistant had a preview of floor plans at developer’s office on 14th August 2026. The Auto CAD files are yet to be sent by them, which are required for more critical analysis. We are following up with Prashant regularly for this.
Our member Ajay Shah is putting his efforts to get the UCO bank vacated at the earliest. This may happen earlier than the developer has assured. However, we are still holding them responsible to vacate UCO and have not changed our stance.
Lastly, we are mindful of the members sentiments and unrest due to slow progress. Please be assured that the efforts and pressure are put continuously (by MC as well as RDC) to achieve various targets. However, when efforts of multiple agencies are to converge to accomplish a task, any delay from one agency, for whatever reason, leads to delay. Pressure can be an influence on individuals. But while dealing with the Ministry or Courts it is not as much of an influence as it is on individuals. We are using the pressure in a measured manner without leading to frustration of any party. In the same breath I will admit that there has been considerable delay in the DA and Floor Plans, which we are trying to expedite desperately.
